Software Engineer – Risk Systems
Our client,a leading global investment manager is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build Front Office Risk systems supporting trading, portfolio management, and risk analytics at scale. You’ll join a growing team embedded directly within investment technology, designing infrastructure that handles real-time risk data, model computation, and analytics delivery across diverse strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and own core infrastructure powering real-time risk measurement, pricing, and analytics across multi-asset portfolios
- Develop internal platforms and services that connect quantitative models to downstream risk reporting and decision-making workflows
- Drive adoption of modern containerization and orchestration practices across a distributed engineering environment
- Work closely with investment and research teams to translate complex risk requirements into reliable, production-grade technology
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent in capital markets or asset management
- Fluency in C# and Python in production environments
- Practical experience deploying and managing containerized workloads in cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with how financial instruments are priced, risk-managed, and reported across a trading or portfolio context
