Product Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, particularly in areas such as internal prime brokerage, counterparty margin/usage, securities lending, street wallet, and Treasury operations. The Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of product roadmaps, managing end-to-end project lifecycles, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance product offerings and align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and market needs.
– Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of product strategies, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
– Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and optimizations.
– Utilize quantitative skills and portfolio analytics to assess product performance and make data-driven decisions.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prototype solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs.
– Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
– Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to facilitate communication and ensure project alignment.
– Stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in product management or business analysis
– Extensive financial industry experience, buy side preferred, with specific expertise in Middle and Back Offices
– Demonstrated skills in project management, business analysis, and prototyping.
– Excellent quantitative skills with a focus on portfolio analytics.
– Ability to develop and execute strategic product roadmaps.
– Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
