Associate Account Manager

Our client, a fast-growing fintech building modern engagement and marketing infrastructure for community financial institutions is looking for an Associate Account Manager to join their team. 

This is a full time, onsite position in NYC responsible for retention and growth within a defined book of accounts —  a great launchpad role for someone early in their GTM career.

What you’ll do:

  • Own renewals, expansion, and net revenue retention for your book
  • Build and manage pipelines, forecasts, and mutual action plans with customers
  • Spot risk and opportunity using product usage and engagement data
  • Run product demos, renewal conversations, and expansion discussions
  • Partner closely with pre-sales, product, and implementation teams
  • Surface customer insights that shape roadmap and GTM strategy

What you bring:

  • 1-3 years of customer-facing experience in account management, customer success, or direct sales
  • Proven track record hitting or exceeding targets in a metrics-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience working in a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Genuine interest in fintech, SaaS, or financial services
  • A collaborative, no-drama attitude suited to a fast-moving startup

Strong performers quickly earn larger accounts, more autonomy, and a clear path toward a senior account management role. Real commercial ownership, direct customer exposure, and day-one visibility into how a modern GTM team runs.
