Our financial services client is looking to hire a developer to design and code functional programs and applications. The Developer will work as part of a team and individually to meet the requirements of the position. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and keen eye for detail with the goal of writing clean and flawless code in order to produce fully functional software applications according to business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications to support the business operations 
• Collaborate with other members of the team to create solutions to the needs of the firm
• Create Unit tests and integration tests to confirm that applications behave as intended
• Work in Cloud environment to make solutions performant and cost effective
• Learn and adapt to changes in requirements from the business

Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline
Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns, C# or similar language experience
Knowledge of relational database design
Desire to learn and constantly improve
Three plus years of recent experience in application development
Written and verbal communication skills
Experience in aspects of asset management and/or desire to build a foundation in the institutional financial field, with a specific focus on accounting or investor reporting a plus
 
Technical Skills
Required: Expert knowledge of C#, SQL Server, PowerShell or Python, or similar languages
Pluses: Experience with AWS or other clouds, Test Automations, Office Products
