Software Developer
Our financial industry client is looking for an experienced .Net Developer to join their team in a full time, permanent position.
Our client works onsite in Suffolk County, NY and has a compensation target in the $150-$170K + bonus range.
You'll be joining a small, hands on team and be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of homegrown applications utilized throughout the firm.
Responsibilities
• Writing code independently and collaboratively
• Maintain quality of products by understanding business processes and thorough testing
• Specifying required functions, methods and events
• Debugging and troubleshooting of all programs
• Developing applications based on functional designs
• Identifying and communicating technical problems/solutions
• Maintaining internal/external web applications
• Code reviews emphasizing quality and coding standards
Qualifications
• Strong C#, Bootstrap, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript development experience. VB.Net experience a plus
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server queries, scripting, stored procedures, relational design key relationships
• Solid understanding of both object-oriented and procedural programming
• Excellent debugging and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with client and server technologies including APIs and Web Services
• Experience with database driven websites, financial/accounting applications a plus
• Experience with Microsoft development tools, VSS, Visual Studio
• DevExpress and SAP Crystal Reports experience a plus
