Lead UIUX Developer
Our financial industry client is looking for an experienced Front End focused Engineer to join their front office technology team. It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a well known and respected firm and play a hands on role in creating the next generation of front office trading and risk technology systems.
Duties:
- Define front-end architecture and a shared design system for a new front office platform spanning desktop, web, and mobile
- Build responsive, real-time dashboards and data-dense views using modern grid and charting libraries
- Keep interfaces fast and responsive under heavy streaming data loads
- Run discovery with investment teams, then turn trading and risk workflows into wireframes and clickable prototypes
- Identify and deliver practical uses of AI within front office tools
- Set coding standards, lead code and architecture reviews, and mentor UI engineers
Required Experience:
- 10+ years in front-end or UI/UX engineering, ideally including 3+ years as a team lead
- Deep React and TypeScript skills, plus working knowledge of Node.js
- Experience with desktop interop containers (OpenFin/HERE or similar) and with Python or C# .NET Core services
- Solid grasp of financial markets, instruments, and market data
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
