Java Engineer

Our Client, a leading in email marketing and automated personalization, is looking for a Java Engineer to convert servlets into RESTful API Calls.  This position will work closely with product and engineering leadership to designn and develop these new API definitions.  

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of Java and J2EE experience
  • 1+ years of SQL experience
  • 2+ years of Web Service experience (RESTful and SOAP)
  • 1+ year experience with Apache Tomcat
  • Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environment
  • Experience with some form of version control (SVN, CSV or Git)
  • Eclipse (or knowledge of another IDE)
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to analyze, understand and communicate business requirements
  • Agile methodology – we use Jira, Confluence and Gliffy
