Regional Business Manager- Global Technology & Change
Our client, a Global Asset Management firm is seeking a Regional Business Manager within their Global Technology and Change division. This person will be responsible for supporting the Head of Technology & Change, Americas with regards to regional financial management, resource management, vendor management, management reporting, communications, global process improvement, headcount management, delivery and PMO management. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, highly proactive, and can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with minimal support or guidance. Financial Management
- Build and own the annual Americas GTC budget (Capex & Opex) and manage forecast and spend
- Work with Group Finance to ensure committed spend is accurately captured and reflected within any centrally produced management reporting, including capitalization of projects and depreciation of assets
- Drive improvements in the annual budgeting process
- Manage the breakdown of Change the Business (CTB) and Run the Business (RTB) - ensuring effective project recovery
- Support governance committees, project portfolio planning, project financial & benefits management, and project resource management
- Support Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (ePMO) frameworks & processes
- Work across both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Partner with internal / external stakeholders to ensure delivery
- Drive portfolio / regional prioritization in alignment with business strategic objectives
- Build GTC commentary for the North American Executive Committee (NAEC)
- Provide oversight of the Project Managers, ensuring change initiatives remain within governance
Technical
- Work with the PPM tool KeyedIN
- Define standards for management analytics and reduce shadow functions, ensuring all information consumed by the region is provided from central golden sources
- Deliver high quality dashboards and reports to senior management and governance committees, including portfolio oversight, financial performance, return on investment, benefits analysis and value delivered, global resource utilization, and MI, KPI & trend analysis
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Asset Management industry
- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven track record of resolving complex financial problems
- Experience of working in an agile environment (preferably SAFe)
- Experience in working with PPM tools, ideally KeyedIN
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management practitioner, ideally PMP, Prince2, SAFe, technology and business change management, global markets.
