Finance Workday Specialist (Associate)
Position Description
Our Asset Management client is seeking a finance Workday specialist to join their technology team. They will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing Workday Financial applications. This role works closely with these teams to effectively gather and understand the requirements, manage, and implement the changes to Workday Financial and other directly related financial systems impacted to drive efficiencies and resolve issues.

This role works closely with these teams to effectively gather and understand the requirements, manage, and implement the changes to Workday Financial and other directly related financial systems impacted to drive efficiencies and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Collaborate closely with finance, FP&A and tax department personnel on technology matters including reporting, troubleshooting, and system integrations
- Create and maintain financial reports using Workday Financials
- Document and validate business requirements with end-users and model solutions for complex business requirements to be addressed with automated solutions
- Perform day to day Workday maintenance functions, including trouble shooting with prompt issue resolutions
- Manage and execute projects using internal and external resources
- Share knowledge on leading practices in Workday and new learnings with other team members.
Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of Workday Finance experience
- Has worked on 2 or more modules within Workday Financial
- Prior experience working within a Financial Services firm
- Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities and people skills
- Highest degree of business ethics and professionalism team
- Possess a understanding of accounting and finance, to be able to support solutions and the development of high-quality requirements
- Knowledge of prism, extend or adaptive is a plus
- Workday Financials Certified is a plus
- CPA accreditation a plus

- 4/1 split (M-Th work from office, F work from home.)
