SP Technology is looking for a strong C++ developer to help build and enhance our next generation Analytics platform. The ideal candidates will be clear, organized thinkers who are able to communicate well within the team. Most importantly, they will be enthusiastic about building excellent software that makes a direct impact on the bottom line of the business we support.

 

  • Be a senior developer and lead design discussions, development and successful delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Building new and innovative solutions in addition to enhancing and supporting existing trading and risk systems.
  • Working closely with quants, traders, and other stakeholders to drive requirements, development, and rapid delivery.

 

 
  • Strong C++ skills (must have).
  • Good understanding of various ABS/MBS and Securitized Products (must have).
  • Experienced in building or working on large scale distributed systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn different technology stacks and business areas.
  • Understands and uses best-practice software engineering skills.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
  • Ideally 10 to 15 years of experience.

 
  • Database skills, SQL and one or more of Oracle, Sybase, Sybase-IQ, DB2 on Linux and Windows.
  • VBA/Excel Add-In Development for analytics.
  • Understands the nuts and bolts of software release and deployment for distributed computing systems.
