Fullstack Developer

This can site hybrid midtown or remote for the right candidate.

 

The full stack developer will work directly on projects that improve the experience, efficiency and
profitability of the Firm’s investment team. They will participate in the design, implementation,
and deployment of applications to enable analyses and create a cohesive user experience. The
successful candidate will work collaboratively with others in the Software Development Group to
realize the full lifecycle of system development projects, from requirements gathering through
white-boarding, application design, system design, data modeling, coding, delivery, support and
enhancements. They should possess a keen eye for modern    UI    design and aesthetics.
Must Have:
• 4+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience
• Significant    experience    building    web    applications    and    reusable    components    in    a    modern    
Javascript    framework    such    as    Angular    2.x+,    React,    Vue,    or    other
• Proven    experience    designing    and maintaining shared    frontend    libraries and    webservice    
layers    using    industry    standard    best    practices
• Experience    tuning    web    applications    to    optimize    responsiveness,    rendering    time,    easyof-use/UX    across    a    variety    of    complex    user    workflows.
• Proficiency    with    client-side    scripting    languages    (HTML/CSS/Javascript)    and    an    
understanding    of    how    to    manipulate    the    DOM    to    improve    usability/appearance    of    web    
UI’s.
Nice    To    haves:
• Experience    with    state    management    frameworks    (Vuex,    Redux,    etc)
• Experience    with    data-analysis/visualization    frameworks    such    as    ag    Grid,    D3/C3,    
HighCharts
• Experience    with    Typescript    in    writing    application    code    and    shipping    as    standalone    
packages.
• Familiarity with Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot Framework
Education:
A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or other related discipline
Proven organizational, mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
