Help Desk/Trade Support Engineer

Trade Floor Support / Help Desk
New York, NY
The Trade Floor Support role will support all areas of the business and be responsible for maintaining
stability and improving productivity.
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in an engineering field.
• 4+ years of professional experience working in desktop support in a financial services
environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Excel expertise including formulas, functions and macros.
• Microsoft Windows 10 support including Microsoft Office.
• Mac desktop support.
• Basic knowledge of VMware is a plus.
• Network troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Resolve all desktop related issue.
• Provide detailed root cause analysis for issues that occur.
• Apply security updates to the Windows and Mac Operating System.
• Deploy updated Windows and Mac applications.
• Continuously improve our desktop security.
• Provide white glove service for senior management.
o Support partners personal devices. This includes configuring smart phone applications,
setting up remote access from home and off hours support to assist with remote access.
• Internal Meetings
o Help presenters and guests to use the conference rooms.
o Verify presentations.
• Assist employees with conference calls and remotely connecting to their desktop for meetings
and zoom
• IP Phone support.
• Participate in on-call rotation for support issues raised outside of business hours and on the
weekends.
• Assist users with Excel (macros, linked sheets and complex formulas)
• Email:
o Assisting employees with determining if an email is SPAM.
o Help employees with formatting options
o Help employees with filter rules
o Smart phone setup and configuration
• Desk moves
• Internal Meetings
o Help presenters and guests to use the conference rooms.
o Verify presentations
