Application Developer and CRM Administrator

Our direct client, a higher education institution located in New York City is looking for an Application Developer and CRM Administrator (Salesforce), to work with multiple departments and stakeholders. As Data and CRM Administrator will maintain College-wide CRM functionality for Salesforce, Jitterbit integrations, data integrity, reporting and analytics. The administrator works closely with IT to ensure seamless integration with other campus systems (student information system and Blackbaud).

Responsibilities Include: Salesforce Administration, Institutional Reporting (including KPIs), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administration and Operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience administering Salesforce and Salesforce applications (Admin certification and Apex skills a plus)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Salesforce Connector
  • CRM Tools and Technologies
  • SMS Messaging
  • Experience with data integration using Jitterbit
  • Previous higher education experience highly preferred
  • Proactive and able to complete complex tasks with minimal direction
  • Proven Project management skills and ability to meet fast deadlines
  • Excellent organizational abilities and extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong professional, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and SQL
  • Superior Excel skills
  • API
  • Knowledge of AMPscript
  • HTML/CSS proficiency required
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Must be resourceful and creative about technical problem-solving
  • Enthusiasm for new and emerging technologies
